About the Role
As a Sales & Business Development Intern, you will support KapiteinLabs’ sales strategy, focusing on B2B growth and engagement with impact investors, venture capitalists, and corporate clients. Your role will help accelerate revenue generation, licensing deals, and pilot program conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales funnel management: Support the identification, qualification, and conversion of B2B sales leads in cleantech, ESG-driven industrial markets, and impact investment sectors.
  • Investor outreach & deal flow: Assist in preparing investment proposals, financial projections, and business cases for VC firms and impact investors.
  • Client engagement and negotiations: Facilitate initial discussions with corporate sustainability officers, procurement teams, and industrial decision-makers.
  • Proposal and contract development: I will support the sales team in preparing customized proposals, pricing models, and partnership agreements.
  • Data analysis & reporting: Track KPIs, customer conversion metrics, and sales performance to refine commercial strategies.
  • Industry research: Gather insights on market trends, impact investment opportunities, and ESG-driven sales narratives.
  • Marketing & branding alignment: Collaborate with the corporate communications and PR team to develop compelling sales narratives.

Ideal Candidate

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s in business, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in financial projections, sales data, and market intelligence.
  • Communication and talented negotiation skills for B2B sales and investor engagement.
  • Interest in venture capital, sustainability, and industrial markets.
  • Experience with Sales Pipeline Management, sales outreach tools, and financial modeling is a plus.
  • A proactive, target-driven mindset passionate about closing deals and expanding business networks.
